Our Boats

TR-7 is the future of top alcohol flat bottom boats. Hand crafted from the ground up, not just another 30 year old ski boat with capsule in it. This boat is aerodynamically designed to achieve speeds at over 200 miles per hour. we have incorporated new concepts and designs into the old school race proven flat bottom concept.

The plug was a TR-2. From there, we used tr-4 runners and a “Mako” type center keal. The boat measures 19 feet long, 6 inches narrower across the beam and is 5 inches wider across the transom in order to match up with the aerodynamic vented deck. The boat has 3 wings (one on each vent and the tall center wing). The vent wings can be adjusted for wind gusts, cross winds and tightening up the tail as well as adjusting torque.

The plate assembly from the “Mako”, “Cole”, “Hondo”, as well as any TR-2 is interchangeable. In other words there is nothing that isn’t race proven with our flat bottom concept. The deck was designed by an aeronautical engineer. The vents shell and hand rails are in the shape of a wing. Essentially, the entire shape of the boat is a wing.

We have raced the boat four times and all four times went to final round. Driver “Robert Sanders” was a three time finalist. “Jerry Davis” drove it soon after and took it to finals as well. The boat has already been race proven. The world championship and world records are in sight with this boat.
